Four Easy Steps
Cleaning
For a perfect and lasting result, it is essential to thoroughly clean the surface to be repaired and protected:
- Sweep the surface.
- Trim any grass at the asphalt edge.
- Brush and clean oil and grease stains using RESISTO CLEANER AND DEGREASER.
- Rinse with water.
Surface preparation
Apply the OIL SPOT PRIMER to the asphalt surface. This primer optimizes the adhesive strength of asphalt driveway sealers on surfaces damaged by oil deposits. Note that installation is recommended at a minimum temperature of 10 °C (50 °F).
Sealant Levelling
To fill and repair small to large cracks, use either LIQUID CRACK FILLER, RUBBERIZED CRACK FILLER, LEVELLING PATCH or REPAIR ASPHALT, all high-quality products from the RESISTO line.
Protection and Renovation of Asphalt Surfaces
Choose from these three products: RESISTO’s ASPHALT DRIVEWAY SEALERS repair and protect your asphalt driveway, while the ACRYLIC ASPHALT RESTORER rejuvenates and seals it. All products are sold in 100% recyclable and reusable HDPE containers.

WHICH ASPHALT PRODUCT SHOULD YOU USE?
AQUEOUS-EMULSION BITUMEN-BASED COATING
- Restores some of the original properties and elasticity of asphalt surfaces
- Is applied with a squeegee
- Offers superior protection
- Creates a matte finish
- Is effective on worn asphalt surfaces
ASPHALT RESTORER
- Has an acrylic base.
- Is applied with a roller.
- Creates a refreshed aesthetic.
- Provides a high-gloss black finish.
- Is effective on smooth asphalt surfaces.
It is not recommended to use an aqueous‑emulsion bitumen- or acrylic‑based product on coal tar pitch surfaces that are still in good condition.
